Hey everybody...

I know it's been quite a while since I’ve written, but it has been a very tough 8 weeks for me and my family.  On August 5th I sustained a severe concussion during a training camp practice that has unfortunately ended this year’s NFL season for me.  We are so thankful for all of the thoughts and prayers that have been coming our way.  They have truly been needed and felt.  God has always used injury in my life to test and refine me, so here I am yet again facing another trial.  I truly believe that our greatest growth comes from experiencing our greatest adversity.  I now find challenge and encouragement in James' words when he says "Consider it pure joy my friends when going through trials of many kinds, for you know that he testing of your faith develops perseverance.  Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything".  So with that being said I am excited to see what lessons, paths and new opportunities God has in store for me.
